History (Background)

The Foundation is a Christian organization established for non-profit purposes. The ministry was established by Dr. David Fugoyo Baime and Rev. Dieudonne Chau Ginawi to train people who serve God in different church departments or ministries to serve God more effectively.
After several years of church ministry, and after attaining theological and ministry training, David and Dieudonne felt the need to train church leaders in South Sudan for effective ministries. They established The Foundation for this purpose. They began training different church leaders in South Sudan in 2015. The number of those trained grew within a short time, and this encouraged David and Dieudonne to develop “Foundations of Christian Ministries”, a manual they now use to train church leaders on the basics of Christian ministries.
Through The Foundation, hundreds of church leaders in South Sudan and Sudan have been trained. Recently, South Sudanese church leaders, Sudanese church leaders, and some Ugandan church leaders in Uganda have been trained using The Foundation manual.
The training introduces the church leaders to the Bible, basics of theology, Bible interpretation, sermon preparation and delivery, church administration, leadership, evangelism and discipleship, counselling and trauma healing, Christian life, and others. Occasionally, The Foundation offers specialized training sessions based on the needs of the people and churches. The ministry reaches out to the spiritually needy to provide skills to those willing to serve the Lord in their local churches and communities and to those seeking growth in their leadership roles.
