The Foundation is a Christian organization established for non-profit purposes. The ministry was established by a group of South Sudanese leaders and theologians to cater for the skills needed in the church. The ministry reaches out to the spiritually needy to provide skills to those willing to serve the Lord in their local churches and communities and to those seeking growth in their leadership roles.
Our philosophy
Every strong house has a strong foundation. A foundation carries and supports the weight of the entire building. It keeps the building standing during natural disasters such as storms and floods. Jesus said, “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock” (Matthew 7:24- 25). At TF, therefore, we work to strengthen the church’s foundation in South Sudan and beyond by teaching the followers of Christ to hear and practice the word of God, by equipping leaders, and by providing excellent education to the next generation.

Ministry Thematic Areas

Leadership Development
“Everything stands and falls on leadership.” Leadership is much needed at the family level, community, and globally. No society can move forward without leadership. At The Foundation, we deliberately train and motivate young leaders and provide skills to those already in leadership positions and engagements.
Education
Education is the backbone of any community. South Sudan has ranked low in literacy due to the prolonged civil wars. Education must be taken seriously for an informed, organized, and civilized society. The Foundation plans to have robust and competitive Primary, Secondary, and tertiary educational centers in South Sudan. Through these institutions, TF believes the community will transform.
Discipleship & Mission
Many of those serving God can only do better if they are properly discipled. Discipleship is not an option, but a mandate. The Foundation disciples God’s people at different levels and through various discipleship programs. The Discipleship does not end with discipleship. Missions follow discipleship. The Foundation encourages and, where possible, sends the discipled on short- and long-term missions.
